Every time I look at this photo, I get so incredibly angry. Whoever broke into my car and decided to steal my art portfolio: I truly hope that one day you put your heart and soul into something and work REALLY hard on something that holds absolutely no value to anyone else but yourself, only to have someone rip it from your life and probably just trash it in a place to never be seen again.
You took my piano, sure, but you didn’t need my art portfolio. You didn’t need my 10-15 huge portraits and paintings I put months of love into.

On February 12th, 1993, Robert Thompson and Jon Venables of Liverpool, England tortured and brutally murdered 2 year old boy James Bulger. They abducted him from a local supermarket while his mom wasn’t paying attention. The kids lead James to a railroad track 2.5 miles away, cruelly torturing him along the way. As many as 38 people saw Thompson and Venables and some even asked what they were up to, but none intervened.
Once at the railroad track, Thompson and Venables proceeded to brutally murder James. They dropped him on his head, covered him in blue paint, shoved batteries down his throat, kicked and stomped on him, and hit him repeatedly with a metal crowbar. It’s also suspected that they put batteries in his anus, although none were found there. Once he was dead, they put him on the track so it would look like a train had hit him. Shortly after the boys left the scene, a train actually ran over James, splitting his body in two.
When Thompson and Venables were taken in for questioning, both admitted to the crime, blaming the other. The paint found on Thompson’s clothes matched the paint found on James, and the blood on Venables’ clothes and shoes matched James’. Both were sentenced to jail for a minimum of 8 years.
Both of the boys have since been released from jails and have new identities. Venables is back in jail for possession of child pornography.
